Palmet Energy, with its 15 companies, is one of the 500 largest companies in Turkey. It is authorized with energy production and distribution in some provinces and regions of Turkey. With its mining and energy facilities, it aimed to respond more quickly to the membership, termination, bill payment, requests and complaints of its customers in the region where they provide electricity and natural gas services.

The website was old and useless, the company to reaching a website that it would distinguish itself from its competitors would be a reason for preference for its subscribers, and it would be able to reach an autonomous system by reducing the burden on the employees.

about the project

Palmet Energy needed a website which it could promote its companies and fields of activity, announce news and investments in the media, and express its corporate umbrella.

Palgaz Energy and Palen Energy were natural gas and energy distribution companies serving in different regions of Turkey. With their investments in recent years, they were the companies that provided the energy in the largest industrial regions of Turkey, and they needed an online structure integrated with electronic state systems for their subscription transactions.

This structure had to be able to appeal to the big companies of the industrial zone, as well as to the middle-aged and older audience who did not want to go to the billing center to pay their bills.

They also needed a website to announce Palmet's overseas activities in the field of engineering. This site was supposed to represent Palmet energy company and reveal its well-established structure.

On the group site, which was designed with the corporate colors of Palmet Energy, its structure and fields of activity should be accurately described with visuals that could express Palmet's work and its place in the sector.

The image and power of the factory and production facilities should be emphasized, and the institutional framework should be established by including its history and management structure. Palmet news in the press should be grouped according to years, and the order of investments and news about them should be created by placing them on a timeline.

For gas leaks and similar emergencies, emergency notifications had to be on each screen and easily found on both desktop and mobile views.

The reason for visiting the websites of companies in the energy sector in Turkey is mostly membership, invoice, paperwork and emergency notifications. For this reason, although it is a stylish site in terms of design, new membership and cancellation processes should be distinguished from other parts with large buttons and clear fonts.

The subscription transactions of the system should be integrated with the official state site e-state, and for the bill payment system, it should be integrated with contracted banks and bill payment systems.

Placing easily understandable icons for all age groups and ease of use of online menus increased the number of transactions on the site and eased the burden of branches. In Google searches, interest in Palmet energy companies increased by 23%.

As a company representative and project manager, I took part in the pre-collaboration brief, sales and contract stages.
Considering the usage habits, I prepared a draft study and presented the board of directors with the alternatives.
I designed the user interfaces.

I followed the process by making project roles and working on scheduled.
I researched the complaints of competitor companies by conducting a research on user expectations in the regions of operation.
I was at each stage of the study and carried out the tests with the company.
